Annalee Augustine
Senior Legislative Advocate and Counsel
Annalee Augustine brings deep expertise in California’s legislative and regulatory landscape, with a strong track record of advancing complex policy initiatives. She most recently spent seven years at California Advocates, Inc., where she served as a Legislative Advocate and led advocacy strategy across a broad portfolio of issues, including food and packaging, labor and employment, recycling and circular economy policy, taxation, the Judicial Branch, privacy, real estate, transportation, education, and agriculture. Annalee is admitted to practice law in California and serves on the board of Capitol Network, a nonprofit organization supporting women in the Capitol community.
Annalee is known for building diverse, effective coalitions and has testified before the California Legislature on a wide range of policy matters.
Earlier in her career, Annalee served as a Legislative Aide and was selected for the prestigious Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program. She earned her Juris Doctor, with a concentration in business law, from McGeorge School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
