The CJAC Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to teaching small business owners how to avoid getting sued, through proactive compliance with the law and maintaining best practices. The Foundation provides educational workshops to small businesses free of charge.

The Foundation was formed in 2015 by the Civil Justice Association of California (CJAC). CJAC is a non-profit, membership organization supported by a coalition of citizens, taxpayers, businesses, local governments, professionals, manufacturers, financial institutions, insurers, and medical organizations to advocate for fair civil justice policies in the California Legislature, courts, and the regulatory arena.
