The Civil Justice Association of California honored State Assemblywoman Anna M. Caballero (28th District) with a Civil Justice Leadership Award for her work in the 2007-08 legislative session.
During the legislative session, Assemblywoman Caballero has supported bills that would protect businesses or individuals who volunteer to help in an emergency, authorize additional judges in California, and increase access for people with disabilities while reducing excessive litigation against businesses.
