If you aren’t a regular visitor already, we’ll bet you’ll want to start.
Our new California Civil Justice Blog is there. Plus interactive features, updated frequently with news, research, videos, and more — all about California’s legal climate and interesting and useful items from around the country (and sometimes abroad) that you may not find anywhere else. Or not find without a lot of looking, anyway.
Our CJAC site will continue its useful list of bills tracked, with links to text, amendments, committee analysis, and our support and oppose letters. You’ll be able to get detailed information on personal injury and other plaintiffs’ lawyers’ campaign contributions in California, and an archive of CJAC news releases and opinion articles, our quarterly Balance newsletter, and various reports done over the years.
Still under development: more information on our Appellate Program’s amicus work and a calculator to help legal service consumers understand and estimate contingency fees.
